Ages 15+

Group services is where I conduct psychometric assessments and design interventions according to the specific needs of my clients. In group/team settings I will usually have in introductory meeting with the group/team leader/s to gain an understanding of their unique needs and expectations whereafter I will then provide them with a detailed proposal of the team intervention I plan to conduct with the goals, objectives and anticipated outcomes of the intervention as well as the value of it to them as my client/s.

Team Solutions

It comes as no surprise that sometimes, it is not the teams made up of exceptional talent that wins, but it is the teams with a hunger to win, perseverance, resilience and incredible teamwork that are victorious!

I design my team solutions according to the team’s unique goals, strengths and weaknesses and develop the teams’ strengths while turning weaknesses into strengths.

Team collaboration and a feeling of trust and loyalty inform my team interventions’ design. When team members trust each other, they have clear roles and expectations, and allow each other to take responsibility and accountability, they create engaged teams committed to achieving their goals and objectives.

During my interventions, I focus on those identified factors that prevents the team from functioning optimally.

 

Team analysis and interventions

Understanding the unique team dynamics within teams is such an important aspect of working with and improving team results. Team analysis assessments are incorporated to understand each team member’s:

– aptitude, in other words how each  individual analyses information, make decisions, learn new things and understand their level of reasoning.

– behavioural style, in other words how each individual tend to analyse, evaluate, initiate action and energisers/motivators to their behaviour

– Personality style, in other words how a person naturally behaves. This assessment measures five clusters of personality traits with each cluster indicating 4 sub-traits. It gives an indication of strengths, weaknesses, relationship trends with others and emotional management.

From these assessment results a team intervention is then designed and a team development process follows to create an agile, high-performing team.

360 feedback assessment and intervention

Everyone knows the value of quality feedback, and the detrimental impact on team performance of poor/no feedback. Yet, teams (especially leaders/managers) struggle to find the time to give quality and constructive feedback.

Using the 360 feedback assessment, problem areas of feedback, specifically to performance are identified and an intervention is designed to improve feedback processes in order to create teams that are highly motivated, accountable, responsible and driven towards the SAME GOALS AND OBJECTIVES.

Competency mapping and development

Sometimes, in the fast-paced and extremely competitive business environment, the need arises for development/improvement of key competencies needed in a team.

Competency assessments indicates the strength of competencies and the existence thereof, whereafter interventions are designed so team members compliment each other and create a competitive advantage within the team.

Sports team interventions

Competition with regards to sport teams have increased quite exponentially in the last couple of years. Many teams, the best team on paper did not win. Why? These teams sometimes forget the importance of psychological and emotional strength. When winning comes down not to physical strength, but rather to psychological and emotional strength, those teams that did not practice perseverance and resilience will not be able to perform at their best in the moments when it is needed the most.

I work with teams on the development of psychological and emotional constructs that will give them the competitive advantage over their competitors.
